"Snow, Cold"

"It's been two weeks since I saw the toddlers, and boy did I miss

them! Today was a special day because it was snowing, a rarity in
Atlanta. The kids were so excited to see the snow and feel it on their
hands. We bundled them up and let them play outside for a couple of
minutes. When we all came inside, one little girl ran back to the
window and said, "snow, cold". Spoken like a true Georgia girl!

Playtime

"It was another dark, dreary, rainy morning in Atlanta, but when I opened the door to the toddler classroom, my spirit was lifted immediately. Thirteen bright, smiling faces were playing happily with toys. As I sat on the floor, a little girl climbed in my lap and handed me a toy telephone. "Hello", she said, waiting for me to respond. Next a boy toddled over with a baby doll, a diaper and a blanket. As we "put the baby to sleep" he laid down too and wanted me to cover him and the doll together. Mrs. Lee does such a good job with the kids, and I'm always impressed with how well-behaved they are.

“I had a GREAT experience today at ACS with the toddlers. When I entered their classroom, the children were listening to their teacher read a book, just like I remember with my sons. My biggest joy? Meeting a cute, little boy with big, brown eyes who had a fascination with the locket around my neck. I opened it to show him the photos of my two boys. I told him they were my babies. He threw his arms around me and said “Moma!”
